Brittany Tran/Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB) lost 10-2 to Alyssa Kyllo/Tyrel Griffith (Vernon, BC) in the Final of the Penticton Mixed Doubles, held November 28 - December 1, 2023 at the Penticton Curling Club in Penticton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Tran/Sluchinski won 8-1 over Brett Barber/Mitch Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in the semifinals of the 2023 Penticton Mixed Doubles in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada; and won 7-0 over Marilou Richter/Craig McLeod (Penticton, BC) in the quarterfinals.
 
Tran/Sluchinski finished 5-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tran/Sluchinski defeated Ashley Mallett/Nicholas Meister (Langley, BC) 9-4, then won 10-1 against Allison Trimble/Brad van Achte (Kelowna, BC) and 10-4 against Sherrie Burechallo-Dias/Steve Strathdee (Penticton, BC). Tran/Sluchinski won 9-4 against Stacy Vande Cappelle/Adam Lucarino (Penticton, BC), then won 7-1 against Cindy Curtain/Richard Feeney (Penticton, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Penticton Mixed Doubles, Tran/Sluchinski take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. For week 19 of the event schedule, Tran/Sluchinski did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tran/Sluchinski ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
