Kyllo/Griffith finished 5-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kyllo/Griffith defeated Sharilyn Alexander/Scott Alexander (Penticton, BC) 9-2, then won 9-1 against Kristi Warner/Nick Warner (Penticton/Osoyoos, BC) and 11-5 against Hafeli/Kopytko.
