To advance to the championship game, Martin/Stewart won 10-1 over BriAnna Weldon/Sean Franey (Denver, CO) in the semifinals of the 2023 Southern Mixed Doubles in Charlote, North Carolina, United States; and won 9-2 over Ann Podoll/Nathan Parry (Fargo, ND) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Southern Mixed Doubles in Charlote, North Carolina, United States;

Martin/Stewart finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin/Stewart defeated Allison Kenney/Edward Scimia (Bridgeport, CT) 9-1, then won 8-1 against Kelsey Ostrowski/DJ Johnson (Chaska, MN) and 11-0 against Kimber Maroney/Brandon Ellison (Tempe, AZ). Martin/Stewart won 11-8 against Cora Farrell/Coleman Thurston (Chaska, MN), then won 8-3 against Lorna Cagann/Matthew Sherry (Chicago, IL) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Southern Mixed Doubles, Martin/Stewart take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $2,797CDN prize. For week 23 of the event schedule, Martin/Stewart did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
