Lars Brauchli (Wildhaus, SUI) finished 6-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brauchli defeated Gian Fadri Jaecklin (Baden, SUI) 9-5, then won 6-4 against Loris Caccivio (Basel, SUI) and 6-4 against Milan Spotti (Aarau, SUI). Brauchli went on to lose 6-3 against Manuel Jermann (Basel, SUI). Brauchli responded with a 7-5 win over Kim Schwaller (Zug, SUI). Brauchli won 9-8 against Schwaller, then won 6-4 against Caccivio. Brauchli went on to lose 6-2 against Jermann in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Junior Curling Championships, Brauchli take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 34 of the event schedule, Brauchli did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brauchli ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
