To advance to the championship game, Skrlik won 5-3 over Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) in the semifinals
 
Skrlik finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skrlik defeated Gabby Wood (Edmonton, AB) 10-1, then won 8-5 against Kellie Stiksma (Edmonton, AB) and 7-5 against Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Stadium Alberta Tour Kick-off Championship title, Skrlik earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 22nd place overall with 153.000 total points. Skrlik ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.750 points earned so far this season.
