Karagoz won 6-4 against Konrad Stych (Warsaw, POL), then won 5-4 against David Sik (Prague, CZE) and 10-3 against Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB). Karagoz went on to lose 0-0 against Iseli in their final qualifying round match.
