Tomas Horak (Brno, CZE) finished 2-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horak lost 9-2 to Ashley Waye (Toronto, CAN), then responded with a 10-7 win over Paulina Hajduk (Bratislava, SVK). Horak won 10-7 against Radmila Panzalovic (Belgrade, SRB). Horak went on to lose 12-5 against 's Ekaterina Galkina in their final qualifying round match.

Horak earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 41 of the event schedule, Horak did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Horak ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
