James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) qualified for the 2024 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against John Epping (Toronto, ON).

Grattan finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grattan defeated Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) 8-4, then went on to lose 7-5 against Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB). Grattan responded with a 5-3 win over Emerson Klimpke (Winnipeg, MB). Grattan went on to lose 6-0 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Grattan responded with a 8-2 win over Jacques in their final qualifying round match.

Grattan earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 58th place overall with 59.684 total points.
