To advance to the championship game, Shuster won 8-5 over Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2024 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen in Tempe, Arizona, United States; and won 8-3 over Craig Kochan (Scottsdale, AZ) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen in Tempe, Arizona, United States;
 
Shuster finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shuster defeated Bob Leclair (Tempe, AZ) 8-3, then won 11-5 against Steve Laycock (Swift Current, SK). Shuster went on to lose 6-5 against Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK). Shuster responded with a 7-5 win over Kleiter in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen, Shuster take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $4,568CDN prize, remaining in 20th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 9.187 after improving upon their best so far this season.
