Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) lost 8-5 to Bruce Mouat (STIRLING, SCO) in the Final of the Euro Super Series, held August 24 - 27, 2023 at the Stirling Ice Rink in Stirling, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Whyte won 6-3 over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in the semifinals of the 2023 Euro Super Series in Stirling, Scotland, Scotland; and won 7-5 over Kyle Waddell (Hamilton, SCO) in the quarterfinals.
 
Whyte finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whyte defeated Jacob Dobson (Ottawa, ON) 9-4, then won 8-7 against Benny Kapp (Fuessen, GER) and 8-1 against Andreas Harstad (Oppdal, NOR). Whyte won 7-5 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Euro Super Series, Whyte take home 33.000 world rankings points along with the $6,847CDN prize, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 293.375 total points. Whyte ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 58.500 points earned so far this season.
