To advance to the championship game, Koe won 3-2 over Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2023 Insitu Players Open in Dundas, Ontario, Canada; and won 5-3 over Kyle Waddell (Hamilton, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Insitu Players Open in Dundas, Ontario, Canada;
 
Koe finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Sam Mooibroek (Whitby, ON) 7-6, then won 9-4 against Bottcher and 7-6 against Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN). Koe won 6-2 against Daniel Hocevar (Toronto, ON), then won 7-5 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Insitu Players Open, Koe take home 38.500 world rankings points along with the $14,000CDN prize, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 7th place overall with 301.187 total points.
