McEwen went on to lose 6-0 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
McEwen earned 5.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 12 of the event schedule, McEwen did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 18th to 20th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 166.383 total points. McEwen ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 63.750 points earned so far this season.
