Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg , MB) run at the 2023 Insitu Players Open came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-5 loss to Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE). of the 2023 Insitu Players Open in Dundas, Ontario, Canada; Lawes advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-4 win over Rebecca Morrison (Stirling , SCO).
 
Lawes finished 3-2 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawes lost 7-5 to Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR), then responded with a 7-4 win over Fay Henderson (Stirling, GBR). Lawes won 9-4 against Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI), then won 7-4 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). Lawes went on to lose 6-5 against Hollie Duncan (Woodstock, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
