To advance to the championship game, Wipf won 9-2 over Peter Hlushak (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 Leduc Lions U20 Bonspiel in Leduc, Alberta, Canada;
 
Wipf finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wipf lost 6-5 to Darien Dunkle (Castor, AB), then responded with a 8-2 win over Caleb Hofstra (Leduc, AB). Wipf won 6-5 against Kinley Burton (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
