Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC) won 5-3 over Emily Bowles (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the Island Shootout, held November 10 - 13, 2023 at the Victoria Curling Club in Victoria, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ryan won 7-3 over Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) in the semifinals of the 2023 Island Shootout in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Ryan finished 4-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ryan defeated Kelly Ellis (Richmond, BC) 7-2, then won 6-4 against Roselyn Craig (Victoria, BC) and 9-4 against Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC). Ryan won 7-5 against Steph Jackson-Baier (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Island Shootout Championship title, Ryan earned 3.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. Ryan move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 0.328 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 87th overall with 25.937 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Ryan ranks 100th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.250 points earned so far this season.
