Bowles finished 4-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bowles defeated Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) 8-6, then won 6-4 against Jackson-Baier and 7-1 against Kelly Ellis (Richmond, BC). Bowles won 7-4 against Roselyn Craig (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Island Shootout, Bowles take home 2.750 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. Bowles move up 50 spots after posting a net gain of 2.328 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 180th overall with 4.812 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
