To advance to the championship game, Shen won 7-4 over Nelson Wang (Taipei City, TPE) in the semifinals of the 2024 Chinese Taipei Championship in Chaska, Minnesota;

Shen finished 1-1 in the 3-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shen defeated Wang 10-2, then went on to lose 8-6 against Lee in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Chinese Taipei Championship Championship title, Shen earned 11.250 world rankings points. Shen gained 14.625 points improving upon their best 2 events, though dropped 171 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 171stplace overall with 14.625 total points.
