Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) won 2-0 over Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the MCT Championships, held January 12 - 14, 2024 at the Heather Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Peterson won 7-3 over Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals
 
Peterson finished 3-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterson defeated Emily Cherwinski (Winnipeg, MB) 7-4, then won 2-0 against Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-6 against McLeod in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the MCT Championships Championship title, Peterson earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. Peterson move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 10.5 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 33rd overall with 108.578 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Peterson ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 86.125 points earned so far this season.
