Cochrane won 6-5 against Mike Kennedy (Grand Falls, NB), then won 9-4 against Terry Miller (Whitehorse, YK). Cochrane went on to lose 8-4 against Francois Roberge (Levis, QC). Cochrane responded with a 11-2 win over Peter Mackey (Iqaluit, NU). Cochrane won 8-1 against James Pahl (Edmonton, AB), then won 4-3 against Ron Rosengren (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Cochrane ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
