Bruce Korte (Saskatoon, SK) lost 4-3 to Paul Flemming (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Everest Canadian Senior Championships, held December 3 - 9, 2023 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Korte won 7-1 over Dave Boehmer (Petersfield, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 Everest Canadian Senior Championships in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Korte finished 8-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Korte defeated Phil Gorveatt (Montague, PEI) 8-2, then won 9-2 against Peter Mackey (Iqaluit, NU) and 11-2 against Ron Rosengren (Thunder Bay, NONT). Korte won 6-5 against Wes Craig (Duncan, BC), then won 12-2 against Alex Smith (St. John's, NL) and 7-1 against James Pahl (Edmonton, AB). Korte won 8-1 against Mike Kennedy (Grand Falls, NB). Korte went on to lose 7-5 against Boehmer. Korte responded with a 8-3 win over Francois Roberge (Levis, QC). Korte went on to lose 8-4 against Flemming in their final qualifying round match.
 
Korte ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
