Gushulak won 8-6 against Ford-Johnston, then won 6-3 against Sharon Cormier (Yellowknife, NT) and 9-2 against Shelly Graham (Fredericton, NB). Gushulak won 6-2 against Pam Osborne (St. John's, NL). Gushulak went on to lose 5-4 against Susan Froud (Alliston, ON). Gushulak responded with a 6-4 win over Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB). Gushulak went on to lose 8-5 against Andrea Saulnier (Kentville, NS). Gushulak responded with a 6-4 win over Chantal Osborne (Thurso, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
