Just/Gareau Reaches 2023 St. Vital Mixed Doubles NISO Classic Quarters

Sherry Just/Chad Gareau (Prince Albert, SK) qualified for the 2023 St. Vital Mixed Doubles NISO Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-6 against Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON).

Just/Gareau finished 1-3 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Just/Gareau lost 8-5 to Karlee Burgess/Jacques Gauthier (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 6-4 win over Juliana Hari/Josh Hari (Thunder Bay, NONT). Just/Gareau went on to lose 9-3 against Jennifer Armstrong/Tyrel Griffith (Kelowna, BC). Just/Gareau lost 10-2 to Dawn McEwen/Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Just/Gareau earned 7.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the St. Vital Mixed Doubles NISO Classic, remaining in 806th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 32.032 total points. Just/Gareau ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.500 points earned so far this season.
