Morrison/Waddell went on to lose 9-1 against Oihane Otaegi/Mikel Unanue (San Sebastian, ESP). Morrison/Waddell lost 8-4 to Sophie Jackson/Duncan McFadzean (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Morrison/Waddell earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
