Henderson/Kyle Runner-Up at 2023 British Curling Mixed Doubles Super Series

Fay Henderson/Euan Kyle (Stirling, SCO) lost 7-5 to Martine Roenning/Mathias Braenden (Lillehammer, NOR) in the Final of the British Curling Mixed Doubles Super Series, held November 30 - December 3, 2023 in Stirling, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Henderson/Kyle won 8-4 over Katie McMillan/James Craik (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2023 British Curling Mixed Doubles Super Series in Stirling, Scotland; and won 6-3 over Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) in the quarterfinals.

Henderson/Kyle finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Henderson/Kyle defeated Perret/Rios 8-7, then won 7-6 against Holly Wilkie-Milne/Robin Brydone (Stirling, SCO) and 9-4 against Jennifer Dodds/Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO). Henderson/Kyle won 9-6 against Vanessa Tonoli/Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the British Curling Mixed Doubles Super Series, Henderson/Kyle take home 22.000 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize. Henderson/Kyle gained 0.75 points improving upon their best 5 events, though dropped 2 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 864thplace overall with 0.75 total points. Henderson/Kyle ranks 245th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.750 points earned so far this season.
