Hafeli finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hafeli defeated Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) 7-6, then won 9-6 against Jackson-Baier and 9-3 against Emily Bowles (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the King Cash Spiel Championship title, Hafeli earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $3,200CDN first prize cheque. Hafeli move up 60 spots after posting a net gain of 6.9 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 137th overall with 10.500 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
