Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) qualified for the 2023 King Cash Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC). of the 2023 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;

Pierce finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated Adam Fenton (New Westminster, BC) 12-9, then went on to lose 6-5 against Kyler Kleibrink (Langley, BC). Pierce responded with a 9-1 win over Trevor Ritchie (Vancouver, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
