Shaun Meachem (Swift Current, SK) won 6-4 over Kyle Kurz (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, held November 5 - 11, 2023 at the Swift Current Curling Club in Swift Current, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Meachem won 9-4 over Paul Flemming (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals   
 
Meachem finished 9-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Meachem lost 8-6 to Flemming, then responded with a 7-3 win over Tyler Smith (Crapaud, PEI). Meachem won 10-9 against Pierre-Luc Morissette (Quebec, QC), then won 10-2 against Terry Miller (Whitehorse, YK) and 6-5 against Scott McDonald (St. Thomas, ON). Meachem won 11-3 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NONT), then won 5-3 against Charlie Sullivan (Saint John, NB) and 8-4 against Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB). Meachem won 8-4 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT), then won 11-2 against Kurz in their final qualifying round match.
 
Meachem ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
