To advance to the championship game, Howard won 8-7 over Hana Synackova (Prague, CZE) in the semifinals of the 2023 Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada;
 
Howard finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Tori Zemmelink (Guelph , ON) 6-4, then went on to lose 6-2 against Heggestad. Howard responded with a 4-3 win over Emilie Metcalfe (Peterborough, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel, Howard take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $1,300CDN prize, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 48th place overall with 63.239 total points. Howard ranks 57th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.563 points earned so far this season.
