Gabby Wood (Edmonton, AB) won 8-5 over Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships, held March 12 - 16, 2024 in Sudbury, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Wood won 7-4 over Meaghan Mallett (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2024 CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships in Sudbury, Ontario;
 
Wood finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wood defeated Mallett 8-7, then went on to lose 7-5 against Sasha Wilson (Victoria, BC). Wood responded with a 9-2 win over Kristen Carlson (Assiniboine, MB). Wood won 9-1 against Josie Zimmerman (Edmonton, AB), then won 17-1 against Ava Andrews (Hamilton, ON). Wood went on to lose 7-6 against Veronica Van Broekhoven (London, ON). Wood responded with a 8-6 win over Shannon in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships Championship title, Wood earned 3.750 world rankings points, moving up 240 spots the World Ranking Standings into 195th place overall with 3.750 total points. Wood ranks 190th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.750 points earned so far this season.
