Baum finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Baum defeated Jacob Reid (Sault Ste Marie, ON) 10-7, then went on to lose 9-3 against Rivard. Baum responded with a 8-6 win over Sean Borkovic (Edmonton, AB). Baum won 5-3 against Jaden Morlock (Red Deer, AB), then won 7-3 against Brendan Chubaty (Assiniboine, MB). Baum went on to lose 8-4 against Dobson. Baum responded with a 6-4 win over Jacob Jones (Hamilton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their third place finish at the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships, Baum earn 2.125 world rankings points. For week 34 of the event schedule, Baum did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Baum ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
