Morlock went on to lose 10-5 against Cole Rivard (Edmonton, AB). Morlock responded with a 8-6 win over Sean Borkovic (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Morlock earned 0.563 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
