Tao won 12-1 against Jamie Stewart (Fredericton, NB), then won 6-4 against Mooibroek and 8-4 against Nick Mosher (Halifax, NS). Tao won 6-3 against Bryden, then won 7-4 against Owen Henry (St.Catherines, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
With their third place finish at the USPORT Curling Canada University Championships, Tao earn 4.250 world rankings points, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 77th place overall with 38.750 total points.
