Gallo won 11-3 against Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR). Gallo went on to lose 8-2 against James Pougher (Hawarden, WAL). Gallo responded with a 11-5 win over Lukas Matt (Liechtenstein, LIE). Gallo won 7-5 against Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Gallo earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 90 spots the World Ranking Standings into 300th place overall with 2.905 total points. Gallo ranks 260th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.500 points earned so far this season.
