Garcia won 10-7 against James Pougher (Hawarden, WAL) in their final qualifying round match.

Garcia earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, moving up 53 spots the World Ranking Standings into 239th place overall with 6.000 total points.
