Anna Fowler (Kent, ENG) finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fowler defeated Verena Pfluegler (Kitzbuehel, AUT) 7-5, then went on to lose 7-6 against Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU). Fowler responded with a 6-4 win over Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Fowler went on to lose 9-3 against Aneta Lipinska (Lodz, POL). Fowler lost 9-4 to Vera Kalocsai-van Dorp (Budapest, HUN) where Fowler responded with a 10-4 win over Miia Ahrenberg (Turku, FIN). Fowler won 10-3 against Ajda Zavrtanik Drglin (Ljubljana, SLO), then won 11-3 against Daniela Matulova (Bratislava, SVK) and 10-7 against Caro van Oosterwyck (Zemst, BEL) in their final qualifying round match.
Fowler earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Fowler did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fowler ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
