Barone went on to lose 8-3 against Lipinska. Barone responded with a 12-5 win over Verena Pfluegler (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Barone won 9-8 against Miia Ahrenberg (Turku, FIN), then won 8-2 against Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU) in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, Barone take home 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 121st place overall with 16.562 total points. Barone ranks 113th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.500 points earned so far this season.
