Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) won 6-5 over Kohsuke Hirata (Kitami, JPN) in the Final of the ARGO GRAPHICS Cup, held August 17 - 20, 2023 at the Kitami Curling Club in Kitami, Japan. To advance to the championship game, Morozumi won 8-5 over Shinya Abe (Sapporo, JPN) in the semifinals
 
Morozumi finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morozumi defeated Ryo Aoki (Sapporo, JPN) 8-2, then won 7-2 against Takumi Maeda (Kitami, JPN). Morozumi went on to lose 7-1 against Hirata. Morozumi responded with a 9-5 win over Japan's Kantaro Kawano in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the ARGO GRAPHICS Cup Championship title, Morozumi earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $1,000,000CDN first prize cheque. Morozumi move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 13.875 points improving upon their best 2 results so far this season, ranking 21st overall with 137.875 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Morozumi ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 33.750 points earned so far this season.
