To advance to the championship game, Yoshimura won 8-6 over Honoka Sasaki (Kitami, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2023 Wakkanai Midori Challenge Cup in Wakkanai, Japan;
 
Yoshimura finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yoshimura defeated Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN) 10-2, then won 13-2 against Japan's Natsuki Satou and 7-3 against Mayu Minami (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Wakkanai Midori Challenge Cup Championship title, Yoshimura earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $9,292CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 20th place overall with 150.938 total points. Yoshimura ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 26.250 points earned so far this season.
