Yuri Nakajima (Miyota, JPN) lost 10-3 to Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN) in the Final of the Kanto Curling Championships, held January 7 - 9, 2023 in Karuizawa, Japan. To advance to the championship game, Nakajima won 6-3 over Japan's Yukihiko Nakamura in the semifinals   of the 2023 Kanto Curling Championships in Karuizawa, Japan; 
 
Nakajima finished 4-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nakajima defeated Japan's Ayumi Yokota 7-4, then won 6-5 against Japan's Fumiko Tanimoto and 7-5 against Japan's Kotono Chiyoda. Nakajima won 10-4 against Japan's Shoko Watanabe in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Kanto Curling Championships, Nakajima take home 5.500 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, Nakajima did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Nakajima ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
