Bruce Mouat (STIRLING, SCO) won 4-3 over Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Mercure Perth Masters, held January 4 - 7, 2024 at the Perth Curling Club in Perth, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 6-2 over Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2024 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland, Scotland; and won 7-6 over Lukas Hostmaelingen (Oslo, NOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland, Scotland;
 
Mouat finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Sixten Totzek (Füssen, GER) 10-1, then won 6-3 against Fabio Ribotta (Pinerolo, ITA) and 5-3 against Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO). Mouat won 6-5 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI). Mouat went on to lose 8-4 against Brunner in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Mercure Perth Masters Championship title, Mouat earned 37.500 world rankings points along with the $11,917CDN first prize cheque. Mouat move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 32.25 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 4th overall with 339.812 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Mouat ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 248.250 points earned so far this season.
