Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) lost 11-6 to John Shuster (Duluth , MN) in the Final of the USA Curling National Championships, held January 27 - February 4, 2024 at the The Rink at American Dream in East Rutherford, United States.

Dropkin finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dropkin defeated Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA) 10-3, then went on to lose 8-6 against Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA). Dropkin responded with a 8-2 win over Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN). Dropkin won 8-4 against Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI), then won 7-2 against Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN) and 8-2 against Rich Ruohonen (Minneapolis, MN). Dropkin went on to lose 8-5 against Shuster in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the USA Curling National Championships, Dropkin take home 27.500 world rankings points. Dropkin move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of -31.094 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 14th overall with 154.750 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Dropkin ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 154.750 points earned so far this season.
