Cotter/Cotter went on to lose 10-8 against Lisa Weagle/John Epping (Toronto, ON). Cotter/Cotter lost 7-3 to Melissa Adams/Alex Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Cotter/Cotter lost 8-1 to Jocelyn Peterman/Brett Gallant (Edmonton, AB) where Cotter/Cotter responded with a 8-5 win over Taylor Reese-Hansen/Corey Chester (Victoria, BC). Cotter/Cotter won 8-7 against Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Cotter/Cotter earned 21.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Trials. Cotter/Cotter gained -15.124 points improving upon their best 5 events, though dropped 4 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 28thplace overall with 54.502 total points.
