Jessica Smith (Naseby, NZL) won 9-3 over Courtney Smith (Naseby, NZL) in the Final of the New Zealand National Championships, held June 14 - 18, 2023 at the Naseby Curling Club in Naseby, New Zealand. To advance to the championship game, Smith won 16-1 over Joanna Olszewski (Naseby, NZL) in the semifinals

Smith finished 6-0 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Smith defeated Lucy Neilson (Naseby, NZL) 11-4, then won 13-3 against Tahlia Peterson (Naseby, NZL) and 13-1 against Olszewski. Smith won 11-2 against Grace Apuwai-Bishop (Naseby, NZL), then won 8-3 against Smith and 16-4 against Olivia Oram (Naseby, NZL) in their final qualifying round match.
