To advance to the championship game, Nevill won 12-3 over William Becker (Naseby, NZL) in the semifinals
 
Nevill finished 3-1 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nevill defeated Becker 8-2, then won 16-1 against Ben Kinney (Naseby, NZL) and 13-4 against Oscar Cao (Naseby, NZL). Nevill went on to lose 8-1 against Flanagan in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the New Zealand Junior National Championships, Nevill take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 5 of the event schedule, Nevill did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Nevill ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
