Ohshita finished 1-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ohshita lost 7-6 to Japan's Moe Sakura, droppimg another game, 7-5 to Miori Nakamura (Aomori, JPN) where Ohshita responded with a 4-2 win over Japan's Yuri Sakai in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the Tohoku Curling Championships, Ohshita take home 3.000 world rankings points. For week 19 of the event schedule, Ohshita did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ohshita ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
