To advance to the championship game, Flemming won 7-3 over Greg Smith (St. John's , NL) in the semifinals of the 2023 Challenge de Curling Desjardins in Clermont, Quebec; and won 7-3 over James Grattan (Oromocto , NB) in the quarterfinals.

Flemming finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flemming defeated Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC) 6-2, then won 8-1 against Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC) and 5-4 against Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Challenge de Curling Desjardins, Flemming take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize. For week 18 of the event schedule, Flemming did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Flemming ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
