Mitch Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) qualified for the 2023 Nutana SaskTour Men's Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-1 against Kody Hartung (Saskatoon, SK).

Heidt finished 3-1 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt defeated Michael Carss (Saskatoon, SK) 7-1, then went on to lose 6-3 against Kelly Knapp (Regina, SK). Heidt responded with a 7-2 win over Luke Saretsky (Saskatoon, SK). Heidt won 7-3 against Carl deConinck Smith (Fox Valley, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Heidt earned 7.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Nutana SaskTour Men's Spiel, moving up 70 spots the World Ranking Standings into 169th place overall with 13.125 total points. Heidt ranks 134th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.188 points earned so far this season.
