To advance to the championship game, Jacobson won 7-1 over Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2023 Scott Comfort RE/MAX Blue Chip Tour Spiel in Wadena, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 9-7 over Garret Springer (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals.
Jacobson finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobson defeated Dustin Woloschuk (Regina, SK) 7-2, then won 5-3 against Garret Fedak (Saskatoon, SK) and 5-4 against Yanagisawa in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Scott Comfort RE/MAX Blue Chip Tour Spiel, Jacobson take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $1,440CDN prize, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 70th place overall with 51.704 total points. Jacobson ranks 78th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.813 points earned so far this season.
