Erin Fitzgibbon (Richmond, BC) finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fitzgibbon defeated Gabriela Farias (New Westminster, BC) 10-5, then won 7-1 against Ara Yoo (Port Moody, BC). Fitzgibbon went on to lose 8-7 against Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
