Daigle won 7-6 against Black, then won 6-3 against Jocelyn Adams (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the The Curling Store Cashspiel Championship title, Daigle earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $2,700CDN first prize cheque, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 51st place overall with 59.782 total points.
